Common Coverages

  • Dwelling Coverage- Protects the structure and items "built-in" against most causes of loss except those specifically excluded.
  • Other Structures- Covers property not attached to your house.  This can include detached garage, gazebo or fences.
  • Personal Contents- Protects your furniture, clothing, and other items in your home from specific causes of loss as defined by your policy.
  • Additional Living Expenses- Provides coverage for additional expenses incurred as a result of a covered loss under your policy.  Examples would include the cost to stay in a hotel or board your pet during home repairs.

  • Medical Payments- Can help pay for medical or funeral expenses of someone who is injured on your property.
